In the past, Currey Management (Holding & Referral) was known only for holding licenses and providing access to members for satisfying education needs and requirement. These services we will continue to offer as well as assist members in making money through referrals.
Today, we are very active as a Michigan Real Estate Brokerage in furnishing referrals to area agents as well as across the state and country while allowing our licensees the option to maintain an active license in a holding status with the opportunity of engaging in referral transactions and receive compensation-if they so choose, while providing guidance and assistance in this opportunity.
We carry a simple belief in that anyone can do a referral if they are current in their license and membership requirements and follow these guide- lines…
1.) Use referral form and complete (Anna or myself can assist you the first time in this process, after that, you will find how simple it is to make money by doing referrals with little to no effort). Forms may be accessed off the website: www.CMInst.com or contacting Anna at her house/office.
2.) There are two forms needing to be completed, one is for the agreement to pay you the agreed fee, with the other form is to refer to a participating brokerage.
3.) find out who the referred party wants to receive the referral, If they or you do not have a brokerage/company in mind, I may assist you here by taking the referral through my named brokerage; Jeffery Corson Benjamin and contract it out on behalf of CMI-Currey Management and you, the member.
4.) Follow up contact by Anna on behalf of member as to progress of any real estate transaction. Once closed, the check will be deposited and paid to the member per agreement-If, member has current active license, a signed Membership Agreement paid up to date, a signed referral to receive compensation and a 1099 form on file with CMI-Currey Management. Check will be issued ASAP.
Membership compensation split to be as follow:
Referral fee of a buyer or seller compensation collected;Member receives 80% and company receives 20% or $250.00, whichever is greater. The same is true if the member refers themselves as the buyer.
Referral fee if member is the seller of owned property (not principal residence);Member receives 80% of referral and company receives 20% or $250.00, whichever is less.
Referral fee if member is seller of principal residence.Member receives 100% and CMI-Currey Management 0%
